Kubuntu ran fine out of the box except for:
- WiFi
- fingerprint reader
I was able to get the WiFi working following this post: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1336379/network-driver-for-realtek-8852-20-10 by installing the driver from https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw89.
I did a probe for linux-hardware: https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=8b5b1397b4
The fingerprint reader remains nonoperational. Would be a fun project to try to get it working. Maybe someday…
